Christmas Day

It was a cool and wet Christmas Day in 2013, which was probably just as well, given that we were to be spending the majority of it at Flinders.

The kids were all happy with their presents - Jessie got a sewing machine to help her with her designing and creating of outfits, initially for her Barbie's but no doubt for herself down the line, Maddi received a comprehensive art kit with paints at paper and all sorts of stuff, while Josh got Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action fihures and RTV vehicle and the such. Good job Santa.
Helen and I gave the kids their Dream world passes for when we venture north, as well as their GWS Giants membership package for the 2014 season.

We then had our traditional Christmas brunch, with pancakes, croissants and fruit, expertly put together by Helen as per usual.

At midday we headed over to Helen's parents house, where we had Christmas lunch along with Christine's sister Pat and her husband John. After lunch more presents were doled out, and then an afternoon game of Skip-Bo and Uno to pass the time. This was followed by the usual hard-fought game of Trivial Pursuit, which also as per usual was probably too intense to enjoy on a gaming level.
