If there is anyone you should feel sorry for with this almost complete washout of the Sydney Test, it has to be Steve O'Keefe. His opportunities in the Baggy Green are going to be few and far between, and his first Test on home soil has had more than three days taken out of it by weather.
At least he got a bowl on the first day, and today he finished with figures of 3/63 from 26.1 overs. It may well be some time before he gets another chance in the Test team, but he has at least made his impact here on his home ground. Imagine if Australia had batted. he could have gone the whole Test doing nothing!
