Bucko's 6th Birthday

Josh turned six today, and it was a full, fun-filled packed day that lay ahead of us.
Jessica was up at 6.00am to make Josh a birthday card, while Maddi had made lots of cards for him.
He also got more Skylanders for his Xbox360 game, a DVD of "How to Train a Dragon", as well as his first acoustic guitar, which hopefully he'll take to like Joe Satriani.

After pancakes for breakfast, we headed over to Nanna & Pop's house for morning tea, and birthday cake. Helen had made another brilliant birthday cake, this one being a Skylanders Portal of Power, complete with Skylanders models on top. Josh also received more presents, a Darth Vader mask, some gooey substance and a bouncy ball.

From here, it was off to Jessica's Hockey Presentation (post on that can be found here).

When this had finished just before 3.00pm we headed off to the Illawarra Golf Range at Windang to play some putt putt golf. Helen had won a voucer vis Facebook about six months ago, so we had over two hours of golf and an ice cream each for free. Great stuff. We played two games, and everyone got at least one hole-in-one which was great... although Maddi left it to the last hole of our second game to get hers.

2nd Game scorecard. Maddi's hole-in-one at the very last moment...
After putt putt golf concluded at 5.30pm it was off to Hog's Breath Cafe for dinner. Not sure why Josh chose it as all he eats there is the garlic bread, but the rest of us had a great time anyway.

We got home at 7.30pm after a very long day out, but the kids wanted to watch Josh's present, so we watched "How to Train a Dragon". Josh unfortunately did not last the distance.
Happy birthday Bucko.
