It's In-Laws Day

A warm Saturday was brought forth, and being the first Saturday of the month, it was time to re-institute the Wade Monthly Get Together. So we headed over to the in-laws for lunch and an afternoon of catching up. Funny though, that this did include a bit of IT work for the son-in-law, to help the mother-in-law connect to Facebook. I'll send them my bill later on.

It proved to be a lucky charm for the Australian cricket team. Given that I saw nothing of most of the day's play, it allowed Mitchell Johnson to tear apart the English batting, taking 7/40 in bowling out the team for just 173 chasing Australia's 9/570 declared. Another great sacrifice by Bill Peters for Australian cricket.

Tonight we watched two more Christmas movies, ones that I remembered from my childhood - the Rankin/Bass stop animation of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and The Year Without a Santa Claus. Helen and the kids both loved them, so they were well worth getting.
