It's a Maiden Kinda Morning

In early at work this morning, as I'll be leaving to see the kids get their awards at the end-of-year ceremonies at school. And so, with only a short burst of time for some music, I fell back to my first love, and had their music pumping through my office in the early hours of this Friday morning.

Music to Not Get Your Pay To

Fun and games at work today, when all the staff realised that they hadn't been paid for last week. Doesn't appear to be a drama on the surface, as we all received our pay slips for this week on Monday - we just haven't actually got the money! Oh well, no doubt it will work it self out over the next 24 hours.
With Christmas fast approaching we have the usual craziness going on with customers and suppliers. Customers either won't pay their bills and refuse to answer their phones or emails, or suppliers are not delivering stock, and when they finally do, it is in the incorrect amounts or to the wrong yard. Not frustrating at all, given everyone just wants the year to end as soon as possible.

Anyway, back to the important stuff - today's listening! And some more re-discovered great stuff that I haven't listened to in a long time.

Wednesday Waffling

Still loving almost every second of listening to so many of these albums that I haven't picked up for a long length of time. Music really does help the day progress better, especially when it is music you love, and not just the standard radio repeats over and over again.

Monday Music Before a 2-0 Lead in the Ashes

Australia are on the verge of taking a 2-0 lead in the Ashes series, and only rain in Adelaide today can realistically stop it from happening. So today it was time for some uplifting, headbanging music to prepare for the final onslaught!

And then, as it turned out, the cricket was over by 12.30pm, with Australia victorious, so I was able to get in another couple of super live albums to fill in the afternoon.
