Another episode with more holes in the story than a barbed wire fence. And again it feels like Mulder and Scully are just walking through the episode like extras, falling into clues rather than searching for them and discovering them, and always far too late to actually do anything about them.
I don't mind so much that the protagonist gets away - the bad guys can't get caught all the time - but surely two super sleuths would have put all of this together much faster than they did. The vivid depiction of gore and violence here rather than the usually implied violence technique caught me by surprise too. 2/5.
