Josh didn't receive an award, having already received his behavioural colour award earlier in the year, but he also got a good report which was satisfying. He is probably the best and most advanced reader in Kindergarten, and his maths skills are good too. I would suggest that he probably enjoys trying to be the class clown more than he prefers to apply himself some of the time, but it's only Kindergarten, and he has made some huge leaps this year.
Maddi triumphed again, receiving an award for Excellence in All Areas. She is a marvel who has turned herself around from the shy girl who cried almost every day for the first half of last year to the confident friendly girl she has become.

Jessica just keeps on excelling, once again having another great year. This year she received an award for Excellence in All Key Learning Areas & Outstanding Application which I guess covers just about everything. She is growing up ino a terrific kid, and suitably has gained her intelligence and good looks from her mother.
After this we took the kids out for lunch as a reward for their great work, and went across the road to the Albion Park RSL, where conveniently they sell beer and the 3rd Test from Perth was just starting on the TV.
